Accessibility Statement

This statement applies to the website at www.techrelays.com.

1 OUR COMMITMENT

Tech Relays Limited is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with visual, motor, cognitive, or other disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

2 HOW ACCESSIBLE THIS WEBSITE IS

We know that some parts of this website are not fully accessible. We have assessed our website against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria and identified the following:

Known issue: Colour contrast

Some text elements on this website do not meet the minimum colour contrast ratio required under WCAG 2.1 criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast — Minimum). This affects certain text displayed in our brand colours. We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it in a way that balances accessibility with our visual identity. We aim to address this in a future update to the website.

Areas under ongoing review

We are also reviewing the following areas as part of our ongoing accessibility work:

  • Alternative text on images — ensuring all images have descriptive and meaningful alt text rather than generic labels
  • Skip navigation — considering the addition of a skip-to-main-content link to assist keyboard and screen reader users

We believe that the remainder of the website is broadly accessible and we are not currently aware of any other significant barriers to use.

3 TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Tech Relays Limited is committed to making this website accessible in accordance with our obligations under the Equality Act 2010.

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The known non-compliances are listed in section 2 above.

Accessibility testing is carried out using a combination of automated tooling and manual review:

  • WAVE (Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool) — used to identify accessibility errors, alerts, and structural issues across key pages
  • Playwright with axe-core — used to run automated accessibility checks as part of our testing suite, providing programmatic coverage across site pages
  • Manual review of page structure, heading hierarchy, link text, and image alternative text
  • Keyboard navigation testing to verify the site can be used without a mouse
